Welcome to the Sixteenth Sunday after Pentecost!
Reminder that we have coffee hour following worship today. It is happening 11:30 on Zoom and you can join us by clicking here. Topic: Tar sands oil is considered the dirtiest fuel on earth and its use will greatly accelerate the climate emergency we are facing. Despite this, efforts are underway to bring more of this crude oil into the country. Anne Sparks and two other women spent a week on the front lines attempting to shut down pipeline construction. They will be talking about their experience.
We are currently planning for worship to be held outside in the sideyard at 10am. In the event of rain, please join us online--unfortunately we are not offering indoor services at this time. For outdoor worship, we ask you to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status, and if you are feeling ill, to please stay home and join us virtually. As always, reach out to the office if you would like assistance carrying your chair or to have a chair provided for you.
The bulletin for this week, including the readings, may be downloaded under "downloads" at the bottom of this post.
