Welcome to the Seventh Sunday of Easter! 

Many of you might remember Dr. Prisca Nemapare, founder of the Zienzele Foundation in Zimbabwe. In 2000, Prisca left Ohio University to organize basketweaving cooperatives for caregivers of orphans in her native country. Every year since then, Prisca has returned to Athens to give an update on the work in Zimbabwe and offer opportunities to purchase baskets. That is, until 3 very challenging years of COVID in Zimbabwe. Finally, Prisca is now able to come again to share with us, and we are thrilled. Prisca's talks are riveting and heart-warming, despite heart-rending circumstances.  Please join us for her presentation on Tuesday, June 7, at 7 pm at the Voss’ house, 6525 Baker Rd, Athens. Hors D’oeuvres and desserts will be served.

Mask Policy for in-person worship: Please note, after its most recent meeting, Council is continuing our policy of worship being mask optional.
