Children's Church begins this Sunday! 

Children are invited to go, with Lucy Crawford and Chris Snoddy, to attend Children's Church following the Children's Moment and will return prior to receiving communion.  

If you are interested in serving as a Children's Church lead teacher or an assistant, please contact Lucy Crawford at lucyc@clcathens.org  (BTW: teens are welcome and encouraged to serve as mentor-assistants.)

*Lessons are prepared by Lucy Crawford and emailed to you on the Thursday prior to your scheduled Sunday.  Lessons will be printed and materials will be prepared and available for you to step into your role on Sunday mornings!

God’s Work, Our Hands 2022
The ELCA national initiative God’s Work, Our Hands is Sunday, September 11th immediately following worship. 
We’ve been packing Snow Day Snack Bags for several years now as a congregational project. The Athens County Libraries continue to find these snack bags extremely helpful in addressing hunger on snow days for school age children. The bags will be packed after the Sunday worship service.
