A Prayer for Students During Finals

God of Wisdom,
 We thank you for the knowledge gained
 and the learning experiences of the semester.
 We come to you and ask you to illuminate our hearts and minds.

Let your Holy Spirit be with us as we prepare for exams,
 guiding our studies and giving us insight
 so that we can perform to the best of our ability.

Grant us the strength to handle the pressure of these days,
 the confidence to feel secure in our knowledge,
 and the ability to keep a proper perspective through it all.

Help us to keep in mind what is truly important,
 even as we focus my time and energy on these exams.

Finally, may we sense your peace
 in knowing that we applied ourselves to the challenges of this day.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
